Answer:
RN makes more money, has more responsibility, respect, and has to do about 4 years of school total from an accredited college/university. You also can choose anywhere in the world you want to work though. Usually hard to get into a nursing program in school and you must have good grades with hospital time in the trenches to get in.
LVN is usually a 1 year course through a community college or trade school like Devrey or something along those lines. They are getting pushed out in the medical field because hospitals are hiring more RN's and CNA's or techs to do the jobs. However, there is always a job at a nursing home for an LVN.
