Question:
Should school teachers be allowed to compete against construction trade in the summer as they are not playing
Answer:
If they have the skill required yes there is an old joke about a math teacher and a carpenter's son the math teacher tells Johnnie to cut a 9 foot board in three pieces by math and Johnnie comes up with
the answer of 35.9166 " per piece the teacher flunks Johnnie because he was reading a book that told him the answer should be 36" well johnnies father came in the next day and brought a 9' board and a saw and told the teacher to cut 3 even pieces the teacher was not smart enough to figure out that when he used the saw it took away 1/8" per cut a total of a 1/4" for two cuts. so yes if the teachers skill are adequate he or she can be in the trades Oh by the way Johnnie eventually ended up with an A on that paper
