Does a college degree guarantee career success?
Answer:
No. Only you can make yourself successful in your career. A college education will, however, give you more opportunities when seeking employment. There are many jobs that require some type of degree before they will even talk to you.
I have a degree in Political Science and a minor in Criminal Justice. I live in a city with no jobs that require that type of degree, or any degree for that matter. Anyway, I was going to go to law school, but now I'm working at my husband's business doing the books. I would have had career success if I had gone to law school, but because of my choices, I have no career success.
